The AT&T Toolbar serves as a
point of "common access" to AT&T applications. After entering your
user ID and password to logon to the Toolbar, you may access all applications
on the Toolbar without logging on again. In order to obtain a user id and
password, contact AT&T Customer Support and request a Toolbar User ID
Request Form.
In order to access the
Toolbar through your web browser, go to the web address provided to you by your
account representative. When the logon screen is displayed, type in your user
id and password. For security reasons the password is not displayed on the
screen. Select the OK button to initiate the logon process.
If you enter the password
incorrectly, a message will be displayed and you may try again. If three (3)
consecutive attempts fail, then the Toolbar exits automatically and your user
ID will be revoked. If you do not remember your password, you may call
AT&T Customer Support for assistance.
If your password has expired, a message will be displayed and the change password window will appear
to allow you to change your password.
If your user id has been revoked, a message will be displayed and the Toolbar will exit. In this event,
call AT&T Customer Support to have your user id reinstated.
After you have logged on
successfully, a toolbar will be displayed with buttons for each AT&T application
to which you have been granted access. On the main login page, you will be
displayed application news items (if any) for each AT&T application to which you
have been granted access. You will also be displayed system status items (if
any) related to system availability, outages, etc.
In addition, options, help , Recent News, System Status and exit buttons will be displayed.
The Change Password window
is displayed at logon when your password has expired or when change password is selected from the options menu. In order to change your password, enter your old password
and then enter the new password twice in order to verify that it was entered as
intended. For security reasons the passwords will not be displayed on the
screen. If an invalid password format is entered, a message will be
displayed, and you may attempt to change your password again.
The Toolbar requires that
you change your password at least once a month. If it has been at least 60 days
since you changed your password, you will receive a message when you log in
requesting that your change your password before continuing.
If you do not logon to the
Toolbar for at least 90 days, your user ID will be revoked. In this event,
please call AT&T Customer Support to have your user ID reinstated.
The options button displays
a menu that allows you to modify the Toolbar's properties.
The Button Text submenu has
two options: On and Off. If you select On (the default
setting), the buttons on the Toolbar will be displayed with a label describing
the button's function, in addition to the icon. If you select Off, the labels are displayed as a Tool Tip (a small label
that appears when you let the mouse pointer stop over a control on the screen).
There is also a menu item
which allows you to change your password .
The Recent News Button
allows you to shift focus to the logon panel. The Recent News button will be
displayed in red if there are any newly added news items / recently modified
news items for the AT&T applications accessible to you. Once you click on it,

application news are displayed under the “Recent News”
section. Only those news items relevant to the applications that are accessible
to you will be displayed. News items viewed by you earlier will not be
displayed – they will be visible only when you click on the Show All News button.
Each news item will include
the application name associated with the news, the date on which this news was
last modified, the news heading and the actual news.

viewed before) are displayed under the “Recent News” section.

statuses relevant to the applications that are accessible to you will be
displayed.
Each system status will
include the application name and the regions associated with the system status
and the system status description text.
